Welcome to
Pico Pianist School of Music!
As a family-owned small business built with love and a passion for music, we strive to create a nurturing environment for every student. These policies are designed to provide clear structure while allowing flexibility, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable learning experience for all.
Lessons
We offer 44 weekly lessons per year (January to December) within 48 teaching weeks, providing flexibility to plan vacations or breaks.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in Fons at least 24 hours in advance.
Make-ups
Lessons canceled with at least 24 hours notice can be rescheduled in Fons during regular teaching hours (studio or online), subject to availability.
No Shows
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson are considered no-shows and will be billed.
Staff Breaks
The staff will take a total of 4 weeks off during the year with prior notice. Any affected lessons will be moved to the end of the year.
Staff Emergencies
If the staff must cancel a lesson due to illness, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances, it will be eligible for a makeup at a mutually convenient time.
Unused Lessons
Unused lessons expire on December 31 and are non-refundable.
Billing
Registration Fee
A $100 fee is due upon enrollment and is refundable with written notice by the 15th of your final month.
Monthly Fee
The yearly tuition is divided into 12 monthly payments, billed automatically through Fons on the 2nd of each month, regardless of the number of lessons taken.
Photo & Video Consent
Photos and videos may be taken during regular classes and recitals. These moments may be shared on our studio platforms to celebrate student progress and studio memories. If you or any family member prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please let us know in advance.
Conduct
We have a zero tolerance policy for hate speech, harassment, or discrimination of any kind, whether in person or online. We expect all interactions, whether in lessons, at events, or in communications, to reflect mutual respect and professionalism. Any violation of this policy may result in dismissal from the studio.
