Welcome to
Pico Pianist School of Music!
This guide gives you everything you need to know for smooth, enjoyable lessons at our studio.
Lesson Expectations
Studio Lessons
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early so lessons can start on time. Students arriving late will only receive the remaining time in their scheduled slot. Bring all required books and your practice chart.
In-home lessons
Be ready and warming up at the piano 15 minutes before the lesson. We may arrive up to 15 minutes early or late due to traffic or delays from previous lessons. If we anticipate being later than that, we’ll inform you.
Practice Time
Aim for at least 20 minutes of daily practice to ensure steady progress. For students under 8, we recommend that parents supervise both lessons and practice sessions, especially in the early weeks.
Staying Connected
Official Updates
All important announcements including studio news, recital updates, and event details are shared via email. You can also follow our official WhatsApp channel for direct updates.

All scheduling changes must be made through Fons. Verbal or WhatsApp scheduling requests are not accepted. Lessons listed in Fons will proceed unless canceled through the system.
WhatsApp Group
A private group (including family members) will be created for general communication between the school and the student’s family
Lesson Wrap-Up
The final 5 minutes of each lesson are reserved for weekly progress updates and discussion.
Extended Breaks
Breaks exceeding two weeks need to be communicated in advance to ensure effective lesson planning.

If anything is happening at home or school that may affect your child’s learning, please let us know so we can adjust accordingly. The more information we have, the more we can be sensitive to the needs of your child.

Media Use & Permissions
